Starbucks Gift Sets

As promised I'm back With a blog post :) I have a few more posts to come so bare with me! Today's post is on a few starbucks gift sets I picked up from Boots.

Starbucks Cocoa Duo Set

The first item I picked up was the hot cocoa gift set, this features two tall ceramic mugs with Starbucks logo in red and white. It also includes two hot cocoa sachets in salted caramel and hot cocoa, I'm looking forward to trying salted caramel as I've never tried it before and it sounds yummy! Also in this set are two chocolate coins and marshmallows which I have already eaten ha! I find the cups great, I find it keeps drinks hotter longer than any other mugs I have. This is a great set for any Starbucks lover and at €21.00 it won't break the bank!

Starbucks Cocoa Trio Set

I also picked up the cocoa trio set mainly because I wanted to try the sachets but didn't realise they were already in the cocoa gift set! This set has three tins each with one sachet of double chocolate, salted caramel and marshmallow hot cocoa. The only sachet that is not in the first gift set is the hot cocoa marshmallow, it is basically just hot chocolate with marshmallows in, the only bad thing about it was the marshmallows were a little hard but that was probably because they were in the sachet so long. Overall this is another great set and I will definitely use the tins as storage.

Starbucks Travel Mug

The last item I picked up was this travel mug mainly because it was 3 for 2 on all sets and it would be free! I haven't used this yet and I'm not sure I will get much use out of it but it's something I wanted as i don't have one! It's looks quite strong and well worth the price.

Even though I bought all these for myself (have to treat yourself every once in awhile, ha) I think these are perfect sets for anybody that likes Starbucks. Currently available online at Boots and in store.

Apologies x

I know this post is Long overdue, but I have been such a bad blogger lately (awful really) my last post was during the summer I think :/ but I am back up and running and will be posting regularly again. I don't want to make any excuses but has been pretty crazy year for me and I finally moved into my new room and have my own dressing table (whoop woop) no more cramped box room with only a mirror to do my make up. It was so small I had to sit on floor and do my make up 😔 left me really unmotivated to blog! But I definitely will do room toor in one of my posts. Okay enough of me harpering on, just little post to say I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth ha! Don't forget to follow me on Instagram: ashling92s .

This week I #1

Passed my driving test.. after two years driving I finally decided to take my test and passed on first go, I am behind delighted with myself as stuff like that gets me really anxious.

Watched my favourite movie ever 'I am Legend'... I was hoping to go to bed early Wednesday night but then I saw the listing on RTE ONE and had to stay up to watch it. The part where his dog dies gets me every time!

Treated myself to a few things from penneys and boots after my test... Not much to report back as my local penneys (primark) isn't that great and only got a few boring things like deodorant from boots.

Finally tracked down these metcalfe skinny topcorn... My local tesco(s) don't sell these and only other place I can get them is penneys which is a half hour drive away but just happened to find these in my local pharmacy of all places!

The Lipstick Tag

Hi guys, I've seen this tag floating around a good while now so thought I would give it go even though I don't own a lot of lipsticks, I tend to find a lipstick I like and stick to it!

1. How many lipsticks do you own?
A very little 18.

2. What was your first ever lipstick?
First one I bought was high tea from Mac I had seen so many swatches of it and loved the shade.

3. What is your favourite lipstick brand?
Ah it's a toss between MAC and Rimmel, but would have to be MAC purely on there coverage a longevity of their lipsticks.

4. What is your most worn lipstick(s)?
At the moment would have to be Rimmel Kate in shade 16 and Loreal color riche in Doutzen's nude.

5. What is your favourite finish of lipstick?
Mac creamsheen has far the best finish.

6. Last lipstick you bought?
Rimmel Kate lipstick in shade 16.

7. How many lip products do you have in your bag?
Just two - Tanya Burr lipgloss in Afternoon Tea and Rimmel Kate Lipstick in shade 16.

8. What is your favourite red?
I don't really wear much red but my favourite would be rimmel colour rush balm 500 the redder the better.

9. How do you store your lipsticks?
I have a small acrylic holder I got off ebay awhile back which is perfect for storing my lipsticks.

10. Currently lusting after?
I've really lusting over MAC sweet & sour. It has been re-released in the states as part of the permanent range but doesn't look like it will be making its way over to Ireland any time soon :(

Wishlist #1

Hi guys I'm back with a Wishlist that has honestly been building up for awhile! I've been trying hard to stick to my spending ban but there is soo many nice things hitting the shops at the moment that I might have to break it and buy one or two of them (will probably be all of them).

I have been lusting over these Zara Coats in blue and yellow after seeing them on multiple of people, they are such beautiful colours and fit, but at €99.95 each they aren't cheap but  I have a feeling they will make there way into my wardrobe , oops :) . Next on my radar is the Black Contrast Tote Bag from River Island, I originally wanted the lime green version on ASOS but has since sold out :( . Since Daisy's are in this season how could you not love this daisy necklace and matching chain also from River Island. New look are also killing it at the moment, I really need to invest in a kimono and this Floral Print Kimono is very pretty. This  lilac miss selfridge top doesn't look much in the picture but is really nice and I already have this in yellow. Also from New Look is this Cream Crepe Blazer, I first seen this on NL website but they did not have my size and then it appeared on ASOS but was over €5 dearer?! What is that about?  Finally one my wish list is the white embroidery blouse, it's from the kids section in Zara but I've tried on jackets age 13-14 and they fit size 6 so here's hoping it does fit because it's sooo  nice.

What have you been wish listing lately

Clothing & Beauty Haul // May 2014

Hello lovelies, I've been a bit of a bad blogger lately! It must be we'll over a week since I've blogged (sad face). It's been a crazy few weeks for me so glad there over. I've done a bit of clothes shopping lately, mainly from penny's/ primark. All the items featured are all bought in the last week, so onto what I picked up :)

This top is New Look and only thing I bought there even though they have so many nice tops at the moment  but had to refrain from buying everything. It doesn't look like much on the hanger but it's really gorgeous on  and definitely will get lots of use.

All three pairs of shoes are from Primark/Penneys. I absolutely adore the middle pair, I haven't seen any shoes like these in store so I had to have them when I saw them.

I also picked up these Primark shorts. The print is just beautiful and when I got to the till I was only charged €5 when they are €13 usually. Score!!

I needed wanted another cami and at €4 where could I go wrong. But I seriously need to stop buying these as I have a a full wardrobe at this stage.

I only wanted these because it had daisy studs ha!

These are so cute and at €1.50 why not?

I had to make a stop at Boots especially as it was 3 for 2. I only needed to go in to get another Real Techniques stippling brush as my old one fell apart. But of course I did not end up getting one thing (shocker).

I picked up these beauties at Tesco for €3!! Yes you heard right, I have since got two more pairs of these. They are great for a night out and got so many compliments with them on. They are re-usable which is a huge bonus. I would definitely pick these up if you can.

What clothing/ beauty items have you been buying recently?

MAC Haul

Hi lovelies I'm currently sitting outside writing this post in the SUN (where did it come from) but it's sure welcome back anytime. Anyway I was feeling a bit spontaneous during the week and decided I wanted to order a few MAC items, I already had a long wish list of items from Mac I wanted but I had to whittle it down to a few (not as easy as you think lol). I ordered the items from Brownthomas.com  (standard delivery) on Monday lunchtime and received it on Wednesday, I was so impressed with the delivery that I had to share it :)

I eventually got my list down to three items, the first item being Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose. I've seen this on countless blogs and after looking up many swatches I knew this would be perfect blush and I love it. I would absolutely recommend it if you are thinking of buying it. It is such a gorgeous coral shade with a hint of shimmer. The second item was Matte Blush in Harmony, I've been looking for a good contour product for my pale skin  so I went with this and it definitely is one of the best for pale skin, I actually look like I have cheekbones ha. Last I decided I wanted to buy my first eyeshadow quad from Mac after seeing pearls and poodles latest post on her Mac Haul so I picked out the Mineralize Eyeshadow Quad in Great Beyond, which I think is the nicest looking  eyeshadow quad. It has four purple/brown shades, I was a bit put off by the shades at first because they are not ones I would normally use but I have grown to love it and all the shades work perfect together. I already have the Golden  Hours quad next on my list!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

New Look Petite // Mini Clothing Haul

Hi Lovelies, as i was browsing New Look in Jervis shopping centre in dublin (which is the largest New Look in the world btw, you should see the shoe section) i came across the petite section, i already knew New Look had a petite section but i thought it was restricted to online only.

It wasn't a huge section, basically a rail but it had a lot of really nice things. I only picked up a few things (luckily for my bank balance, I could of bought everything!). I have to say i am delighted New Look stock a petite range as there isn't enough shops that specialise on petite ranges, and look forward to seeing the range expand :)

Here is a few items i picked up:

. Navy bird print peplum top- Link

Pink textured zip back boxy top -Link

Lace back playsuit-Link this has to be my favourite item out of all of them. I love this playsuit so much, its very similar to topshops lace back playsuit but slightly different material.

• floral print top (cant find link online)

•daisy print peplum top-Link

new look petite is also available online and as asos.com.

Mister Mascara Eyelash Curler

Mister mascara eyelash curler €8.00 Beautybay.com not one of the most exciting reviews but this is one of my most used and favorite tool. I came across this curler while looking for a replacement for my other penneys (primark) curler. It wasn't my best idea using the penneys one as it was extremely harsh to my lashes and had no padding eek!

Mister mascara curler comes with 6 Replacement pads (not that you even need to keep changing them, i didn't change them for months) but its great to have them. I love this curler as it curls the lash
easily and gently. Its very sturdy, i have it about year and half now and its been chucked from bag to
bag constantly. It is also very easy to clean.

If you are looking for a new inexpensive eyelash curler for a great price id highly recommend this.

What is your favorite eyelash curler?

Estee Lauder Double Wear BB Glow Review

Hi lovlies,
Im back with an exciting new release from Estee Lauders double wear range, their new double wear bb glow. I am a big fan of EL double wear range, i own almost every item from the range so it was no surprise that i tracked it down at my nearest EL counter and had to have this when i first heard of the release.

Estée Lauder BB glow is slightly different to the other double wear foundations as it is not as thick in texture and not as cakey feeling but it definitely does not lack in coverage. I have worn this for the last few days and i absolutely love it much more than the original double wear. It does not feel like i am wearing foundation just a very nice moisturiser. It gives me a gorgeous glow as it says on the package and lasts on my face all day in work. The lovely lady at the EL counter told me to mix this with my double wear foundation if i needed extra coverage. It will definitely be my go to foundation for summer (if we ever get it here).

I have the shade intensity 1.0 which is the ideal shade for my pale skin. It comes in 8 Shades and is available on Estee Lauder counters nationwide and online priced at €38. If you love double wear foundation or looking for a great BB foundation i would 100% recommend this.

Available online Here.

New Petite Clothing Lines @ ASOS

I have to say I am VERY excited that ASOS has decided to introduce new brands into their petite section. I already love the ASOS petite line, so as I was browsing one day during my lunch break at work I was delighted when three new brands Glamorous, true decadance, paper dolls and little mistress appeared on their site. I think it's great how more labels are growing their petite ranges. Here is a few picks of my favourite items from each brand.

Have you purcashed anything from these ranges?
What are your thoughts on these new ranges?
