MAC Haul

Hi lovelies I'm currently sitting outside writing this post in the SUN (where did it come from) but it's sure welcome back anytime. Anyway I was feeling a bit spontaneous during the week and decided I wanted to order a few MAC items, I already had a long wish list of items from Mac I wanted but I had to whittle it down to a few (not as easy as you think lol). I ordered the items from Brownthomas.com  (standard delivery) on Monday lunchtime and received it on Wednesday, I was so impressed with the delivery that I had to share it :)

I eventually got my list down to three items, the first item being Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Stereo Rose. I've seen this on countless blogs and after looking up many swatches I knew this would be perfect blush and I love it. I would absolutely recommend it if you are thinking of buying it. It is such a gorgeous coral shade with a hint of shimmer. The second item was Matte Blush in Harmony, I've been looking for a good contour product for my pale skin  so I went with this and it definitely is one of the best for pale skin, I actually look like I have cheekbones ha. Last I decided I wanted to buy my first eyeshadow quad from Mac after seeing pearls and poodles latest post on her Mac Haul so I picked out the Mineralize Eyeshadow Quad in Great Beyond, which I think is the nicest looking  eyeshadow quad. It has four purple/brown shades, I was a bit put off by the shades at first because they are not ones I would normally use but I have grown to love it and all the shades work perfect together. I already have the Golden  Hours quad next on my list!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

New Look Petite // Mini Clothing Haul

Hi Lovelies, as i was browsing New Look in Jervis shopping centre in dublin (which is the largest New Look in the world btw, you should see the shoe section) i came across the petite section, i already knew New Look had a petite section but i thought it was restricted to online only.

It wasn't a huge section, basically a rail but it had a lot of really nice things. I only picked up a few things (luckily for my bank balance, I could of bought everything!). I have to say i am delighted New Look stock a petite range as there isn't enough shops that specialise on petite ranges, and look forward to seeing the range expand :)

Here is a few items i picked up:

. Navy bird print peplum top- Link

Pink textured zip back boxy top -Link

Lace back playsuit-Link this has to be my favourite item out of all of them. I love this playsuit so much, its very similar to topshops lace back playsuit but slightly different material.

• floral print top (cant find link online)

•daisy print peplum top-Link

new look petite is also available online and as asos.com.

Mister Mascara Eyelash Curler

Mister mascara eyelash curler €8.00 Beautybay.com not one of the most exciting reviews but this is one of my most used and favorite tool. I came across this curler while looking for a replacement for my other penneys (primark) curler. It wasn't my best idea using the penneys one as it was extremely harsh to my lashes and had no padding eek!

Mister mascara curler comes with 6 Replacement pads (not that you even need to keep changing them, i didn't change them for months) but its great to have them. I love this curler as it curls the lash
easily and gently. Its very sturdy, i have it about year and half now and its been chucked from bag to
bag constantly. It is also very easy to clean.

If you are looking for a new inexpensive eyelash curler for a great price id highly recommend this.

What is your favorite eyelash curler?

Estee Lauder Double Wear BB Glow Review

Hi lovlies,
Im back with an exciting new release from Estee Lauders double wear range, their new double wear bb glow. I am a big fan of EL double wear range, i own almost every item from the range so it was no surprise that i tracked it down at my nearest EL counter and had to have this when i first heard of the release.

Estée Lauder BB glow is slightly different to the other double wear foundations as it is not as thick in texture and not as cakey feeling but it definitely does not lack in coverage. I have worn this for the last few days and i absolutely love it much more than the original double wear. It does not feel like i am wearing foundation just a very nice moisturiser. It gives me a gorgeous glow as it says on the package and lasts on my face all day in work. The lovely lady at the EL counter told me to mix this with my double wear foundation if i needed extra coverage. It will definitely be my go to foundation for summer (if we ever get it here).

I have the shade intensity 1.0 which is the ideal shade for my pale skin. It comes in 8 Shades and is available on Estee Lauder counters nationwide and online priced at €38. If you love double wear foundation or looking for a great BB foundation i would 100% recommend this.

Available online Here.

New Petite Clothing Lines @ ASOS

I have to say I am VERY excited that ASOS has decided to introduce new brands into their petite section. I already love the ASOS petite line, so as I was browsing one day during my lunch break at work I was delighted when three new brands Glamorous, true decadance, paper dolls and little mistress appeared on their site. I think it's great how more labels are growing their petite ranges. Here is a few picks of my favourite items from each brand.

Have you purcashed anything from these ranges?
What are your thoughts on these new ranges?

Beauty Haul

My most recent haul is from my little trip up to Dublin, I made the most of it as there isn’t many big shops or department stores near me and end up most of the time buying beauty items online or making wish lists for whenever I get chance to visit the stores, so onto my haul...

Origins Clear improvement mask: I first saw this on courturegirl blog and after doing some more investigating and reading plenty good reviews I decided I definitely wanted to add this to my growing origins collection, my first impressions are pretty positive. Review hopefully coming soon.

Origins super spot remover: This is my second pot of this. I originally said I would not repurchase this mainly because of the price, but nothing has come close to this so I took the plunge and repurchased it. It is absolutely brilliant at helping to reduce spots.

Maybelline Mint for life: Love this shade and after seeing it on countless blogs it was firmly on my wish list.

Mac studio fix fluid: This has been on my wish list for awhile. I struggle to find foundations that suit my skin type, So I’m hoping this will be as good as my Holy Grail foundation double wear!

The body shop tea tree pore minimiser and mattifying seaweed day cream: I always try and stock up on these when I’m near a body shop as I love love this stuff, the only things that help keep my foundation on my face and keep the oiliness away, will try get a review up soon.

St ives body exfoliator: I have been looking for a good exfoliator for a while after I finished my beloved soap & glory sugar crush exfoliator. It is very gentle on the skin and I’m loving it already!

Dry Shampoo Reviews

Hello guys,

Now its safe to say dry shampoo is one of the best beauty inventions around, and boy do I love them here's a few in my dry shampoo collection:

Batiste Big and Bouncy XXL Volume: This does exactly what it says, just a few sprays and gives instant volume to my hair, no need for any backcombing. Definitely will repurchase this again.

Batiste Light and blonde: I'm not completely sold on this. It does give my hair a little colour boost but also leaves it a horrible yellowish tinge which is hard to get rid of.

Batiste cherry- fruity and cheeky: Love this stuff, I picked this up while it was on offer in Tesco. This has to be my favourite out of all the dry shampoos I have tried, it smells divine and leaves my hair clean and fresh. Will repurchase this again!

Girlz only dry shampoo: Cheap and cheerful, this was my no1 dry shampoo but I find it very hard to get anywhere except Primark. I think this only cost 1.50euros and it is brilliant, will have to stock up next time I am in Primark.

VO5 Plump it up dry backcomb spray: Not quite like the other dry shampoos but close enough. I don't use this as often as I prefer the batiste version over this as it has a better texture. I would definitely recommend this to people with darker hair as it is clear on application and does not leave any residue. It does give instant volume and will keep using it up till its finished!
