Beauty Haul

My most recent haul is from my little trip up to Dublin, I made the most of it as there isn’t many big shops or department stores near me and end up most of the time buying beauty items online or making wish lists for whenever I get chance to visit the stores, so onto my haul...

Origins Clear improvement mask: I first saw this on courturegirl blog and after doing some more investigating and reading plenty good reviews I decided I definitely wanted to add this to my growing origins collection, my first impressions are pretty positive. Review hopefully coming soon.

Origins super spot remover: This is my second pot of this. I originally said I would not repurchase this mainly because of the price, but nothing has come close to this so I took the plunge and repurchased it. It is absolutely brilliant at helping to reduce spots.

Maybelline Mint for life: Love this shade and after seeing it on countless blogs it was firmly on my wish list.

Mac studio fix fluid: This has been on my wish list for awhile. I struggle to find foundations that suit my skin type, So I’m hoping this will be as good as my Holy Grail foundation double wear!

The body shop tea tree pore minimiser and mattifying seaweed day cream: I always try and stock up on these when I’m near a body shop as I love love this stuff, the only things that help keep my foundation on my face and keep the oiliness away, will try get a review up soon.

St ives body exfoliator: I have been looking for a good exfoliator for a while after I finished my beloved soap & glory sugar crush exfoliator. It is very gentle on the skin and I’m loving it already!

Dry Shampoo Reviews

Hello guys,

Now its safe to say dry shampoo is one of the best beauty inventions around, and boy do I love them here's a few in my dry shampoo collection:

Batiste Big and Bouncy XXL Volume: This does exactly what it says, just a few sprays and gives instant volume to my hair, no need for any backcombing. Definitely will repurchase this again.

Batiste Light and blonde: I'm not completely sold on this. It does give my hair a little colour boost but also leaves it a horrible yellowish tinge which is hard to get rid of.

Batiste cherry- fruity and cheeky: Love this stuff, I picked this up while it was on offer in Tesco. This has to be my favourite out of all the dry shampoos I have tried, it smells divine and leaves my hair clean and fresh. Will repurchase this again!

Girlz only dry shampoo: Cheap and cheerful, this was my no1 dry shampoo but I find it very hard to get anywhere except Primark. I think this only cost 1.50euros and it is brilliant, will have to stock up next time I am in Primark.

VO5 Plump it up dry backcomb spray: Not quite like the other dry shampoos but close enough. I don't use this as often as I prefer the batiste version over this as it has a better texture. I would definitely recommend this to people with darker hair as it is clear on application and does not leave any residue. It does give instant volume and will keep using it up till its finished!
